Being a member means having a lot of benefits. Among these benefits, you can delegate authorized people to your team, to make your work easier.
Only member companies can have authorized persons on their account.
Are you a non-member company? By taking it to the next level, you will gain access to new possibilities with Simplex! For this, make your request through our customer portal.
For member clients, let’s go through the process in detail.
In the Organization section in your account, you can see the list of authorized people at the bottom of your organization’s information: the CEO , the signer (if different from the CEO), and your accountant. To add a new person, simply click on the "Invite a user" button (authorized person) at the top of the table on the right. You will then have three permissions options to give to your guest: Administrator, Editor and Visitor.
We have prepared for you in the video below, the necessary steps to follow and the different roles available. You can easily add members to your team and ensure effective management of your account.
Here is what each role means:
Administrator, this role is automatically assigned to the CEO
and/or signer. The person has permission to manage the account as a whole. For example: edit organization information, make rentals, add other administrators, editors and visitors, change roles or even delete them, and finally access billing. We recommend that you assign two administrators in case one of them is absent.
The editor has access to everything except editing company information and billing section. He can invite visitors. For example, he may be the project manager. He will have the opportunity to make rentals or pick up rentals in branch.
As for the visitor, he has restricted access to the account. This role allows him to pick up the rentals.
Feel free to explore options that best suit your needs and organization.
This feature allows you to be better organized within your team and enhances security against identity theft when picking up from branches. Our customer service representatives can then easily serve you by correctly identifying the person who comes to the branch.
